Alicia holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgian Court University, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2021. She began her career as a mental health technician on an adolescent inpatient psychiatric unit before transitioning to a registered nurse role. She later served as the sole nurse for a Program for Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) team, collaborating with social workers, peer support professionals, and medical providers to support over 70 adults with severe psychiatric illnesses in Newark and Essex County. Her diverse experience in both inpatient and community-based settings has equipped her to address the complex intersection of mental health and substance use disorders. Currently pursuing a Doctorate of Nursing with a psychiatric specialization, she remains dedicated to helping individuals find stability, autonomy, and lasting wellness—particularly adolescents, a population she finds deeply rewarding to serve.
