Daniel Villarroel, LCSW, LCADC, serves as Clinical Director of Guardian Recovery’s Montville Adolescent Center, leading clinical programming focused on helping teens and families navigate recovery and mental wellness. With specialized expertise in adolescent behavioral health, Dan treats anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and co-occurring conditions through a trauma-informed, family-centered approach. His background spans private psychiatric hospitals and nationally recognized treatment facilities, including five years in leadership at New Pathway Counseling overseeing clinical operations across New Jersey. Dan believes lasting healing requires engaging the whole family system, not just the individual. His compassionate, individualized approach empowers every teen to reach their full potential and reflects Guardian Recovery’s mission of helping people find hope and healing.
